Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain | Acupuncture in Milwaukee, WI

“WARNING, this is a long review, but well worth the read… I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition, over 15 years ago. Along with pain, I also suffered from chronic fatigue, insomnia, depression, digestive issues, hypothyroid, myofascial pain, chemical sensitivities, cognitive defects, joint and muscle pain, and unrelenting and debilitating migraine headaches.

After my initial consultation, I was scheduled for acupuncture twice weekly, and started feeling relief as soon as my first acupuncture session! As I continued treatment, more and more of my symptoms improved and soon I was living pain free! Yes, I said pain free! I no longer let chronic pain rule me, I had my life back! A surprising bonus was a 25 pound weight loss. I really think acupuncture restored my body back to functioning the way it was supposed to.

Because of a move, sadly I was no longer able to continue my treatment with AHHA and began treatment with another clinic closer to my home. BAD DECISION! When that treatment failed, I tried yet another provider, after all, I thought acupuncture was acupuncture. BOY WAS I WRONG! Neither of these clinics were able to get even close to the relief I received from AHHA. I cannot express enough the difference this treatment has made in my life. Folks, acupuncture is not the same across the board. The staff at AHHA is incredible, well qualified, professional, compassionate, and committed to their patients.
